Exceptional opportunity for individual to coordinate healthcare quality improvement programs aimed at improving patient safety and healthy outcomes, including implementation of projects, education and research related to the healthcare field.
Individual will coordinate day-to-day implementation of quality improvement and research projects and participate in the development of projects on identified issues, design of instruments, collection and analysis of data, and preparation of progress and final reports of projects as assigned. Individual will also monitor the healthcare field to identify leading topics and issues and recommend subject matter and participate in the development of quality improvement programs and research studies.
In addition, the individual will coordinate day-to-day implementation of educational initiatives, participate in development of educational tools, resources and publications on different health-related issues designed to improve the health status of the New Jersey population and prepare the progress and final reports of educational initiatives as assigned.
Registered Nurse or healthcare clinician with quality improvement/patient safety experience preferred. Master’s degree helpful with experience in clinical healthcare and quality improvement. Must have at least one year of experience in healthcare quality improvement project design, implementation/coordination, data collection and analysis and report writing. Knowledge and experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods and grant proposal preparation is preferred. Must have knowledge of Microsoft office suite tools, experience with data analysis software preferred. Must be able to travel in state and to national meetings on a periodic basis.
