Clinical Pharmacists work closely with other health practitioners to meet the various needs of our patients. Pharmacists review and approve medication orders, monitor drug therapies, and provide drug information. They improve the health of patients by providing pharmaceutical care to individual patients and by serving as a resource to physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
Pharmacist supervise and direct support staff. Clinical Pharmacist must have the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
They must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree from an accredited college or university is required. Current MA license to practice pharmacy or eligibility for licensure required.
