Virginia Hospital Center seeks an exceptional Breast Surgeon (Medical Director) to lead our NAPBC recognized comprehensive breast program at the Reinsch Pierce Family Center for Breast Health in Arlington, VA.
We are looking for a leader to help grow and further develop our established breast center.
As a Medical Director for the breast center, you will continue to develop relationships within and beyond VHC for future projects and continued clinical growth. As such, we need a leader that is willing to be highly visible and play an active role in the community promoting the program and breast cancer awareness.
We are in search of a diligent surgeon who wants to (a) put the patient first with quality care delivered with empathy, (b) a respectful and kind work environment, (c) an employed position with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, (d) allowances for CMEs, Dues, and Relocation assistance, and (e) to work with colleagues that live the values of the organization.
This is a full-time position, divided between 0.9 FTE clinical and 0.1 FTE administrative duties.
There will be no general surgery call required.
The ideal candidate will be a clinically excellent surgeon with leadership experience.
Excellent clinical, leadership and interpersonal skills are required as well as the desire to be a part of a team that functions at the highest level.

A practice that includes two highly trained Breast Surgeons, one Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and one Physician Assistant, located on the campus of Virginia Hospital Center in a comprehensive breast center with imaging and surgical services on one campus.
An established Breast Surgery program within a Hospital employed multi-specialty Physician Group.
A state of the art multi-disciplinary breast center that offers: Surgery, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Genetic Counseling, Certified Navigators, as well as many other supportive services.
Microsurgical trained Flap Surgeons, 3D imaging, Intraoperative Radiation Therapy, and clinical trials for our patients.
