Talent Acquisition Manager, Nurse Recruitment

Under the direction of the Director, Talent Acquisition , you will lead and manage a best-in-class recruitment projects, design and implement innovative strategies, programs, initiatives, and training within budget and in a unionized environment. You will be expected to partner with the various hospital functions, HR, and the Talent Acquisition leadership team to formulate brand development, strategic recruiting options, and process efficiency initiatives. Ensure Nursing Talent Acquisition team support all goals associated with Affirmative Action Plan. Provides employment and recruitment strategies for exempt and non-exempt as well as union and non-union positions in order to contribute to the goal of attracting and retaining the most qualified and productive employees to Boston Medical Center. Drives Talent Acquisition projects from inception to closeout, working with key stakeholders on defining project, providing consultative support, and project management logistics including project plans.
Participate in and lead efforts to identify process improvements and manage or participate in resulting projects
Manage complex multifunctional projects within and beyond HR, including Unions, Compliance, Finance, and IT stakeholders and systems
Develops change management and communication strategies for assigned projects.
Develop and deliver training materials associated with projects and implementations and conduct training for Staffing and business clients as needed.
Design and Develop metrics, analyze data, and share the results in a meaningful and impactful way.
Create professional-quality PowerPoint presentations that clearly convey context, challenges, actions required, and conclusions
Manage and run assigned day-to-day operational processes and continued process improvement initiatives ranging from advertising and branding strategy, union related projects, temporary staffing, vendor management, Diversity Strategy, ATS and other system maintenance, or others as needed.

Follows established hospital infection control and safety procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, required. Masters degree is a plus.
Experience and Certification Requirements
Professional Human Resources or Senior Professional Human Resources certificate is preferred.
At least 5 years of human resources experience required, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Previous nurse recruitment experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and managers at all levels as well as external customers.
Team player with enthusiasm, good judgment, and the ability to solve problems effectively. Ability to motivate and evaluate staff.
Knowledge of recruitment process and best practice sourcing, with an emphasis on minority hiring.
Working knowledge of applicable Federal and State Employment Laws. Previous experience in a unionized environment is preferred, and a solid understanding of employment, employee relations, and critical HR issues.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally with peers and managers at all levels. Comfortable performing multiple projects, as assigned by the Director, in conjunction with day-to-day operations.
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), web browsers, HRIS and applicant tracking systems (Workday)
