Off-Shift Nurse Educator Professional Development-Part-Time-(3062891)
Works collaboratively with members of Nursing Professional Development and local unit Nursing Directors, Clinical Leaders to support and guide preceptors and orientation for service lines and clinical units. Facilitates clinical nurse development of clinical competency, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices. Supports development of nursing support staff. Coordinates with Nursing Director and Clinical Leader to design and facilitate remedial education plans for staff as needed. Supports and advocates for the Professional Practice Unit Based Councils. Collaborates on quality improvement initiatives to enhance professional practice environment and patient care outcomes.
Schedule:32 hours, Monday- Friday, off-shift. Preferred schedule: 6:00 PM-3:30 AM or 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Masters Degree in Nursing, M.Ed., or related field required. 3-5 years of related clinical experience in an acute care setting, including critical care and medical/surgical nursing required. Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required. Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required. Certification as a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Instructor required. Certification in clinical or professional specialty preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong critical thinking skills. Motivated and self-directed; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Accepting/supportive of rapid change process.
