Works under the supervision of the Clinical Director/Therapy Manager and Coordinators, utilizing evidence based techniques as a foundation for rehabilitative patient care. Performs assessments and formulates an individualized treatment plan for meeting or exceeding identified health and rehabilitation needs. Interventions are outcomes focused and consistent with best practice and policies. Actively participates in all aspects of the rehabilitation process as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Supports LEAN activities and adapts to changing environment to meet patient and department needs. Advocates for NHRMC, Rehabilitation Services, patients, and coworkers.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology.
Licensure / Certifications: Licensed to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of North Carolina. American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certification. New graduates in the process of completing their Clinical Fellowship Year must meet supervisory and practice guidelines established by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and the North Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and must hold temporary licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. BSL Certification.
