IP Ultrasound Technologist - Radiology - Ultrasound

Works under the supervision of the Service Line Manager and Lead Tech. Performs Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures as ordered by the physician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a two-year degree in an approved Radiology program or work experience recommended by the approved licensing agency.
2. Licensure / Certifications: American Heart Association HS (Heart Saver) required: Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Must maintain and be in good standing with the accrediting body for the specialty registry within one year of employment.
3. Experience: One to two years radiology experience preferred.
