Supports the mission of Tri-County Health Care through personal conduct including demonstrated concern for people of all ages served and co-workers, contribution of ideas and suggestions, helpfulness and friendliness, regular attendance and punctuality, and adherence to hospital rules, policies and general expectations.Acts as a role model for professional practice.Maintains license, certification and prescriptive privileges in collaboration with preceptor/ supervising physician.Function as a primary care provider for patients of all ages and stages. May work directly with another APP in conjunction with physician that has limited time at satellite clinic.Participates in the community and with public relations. Supports school system and all local events.Able to perform minor, in office procedures, or do so competently after training.Works in collaboration with all APPs and physicians within tri-county health care system and with our specialty/outreach providers to provide optimal care for all patients.Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations of this job are subject to change as needed.
Required: Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed in Minnesota, have successfully completed a formal program approved by a national accrediting agency and be certified by a national certification organization recognized by the State of Minnesota.Ongoing continuing medical education to fulfill requirements for state licensure and national recertificationAs defined and required by TCHC Section and/or Department.Current BLS and CPR certification is required.Demonstrated skills in organizational management, leadership, communication and clinical expertise required.
