Responsible for basic project systems planning including monitoring and tracking questions, conducting system testing, and developing and conducting user training.
Serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with enterprise applications.
Implements, modifies, tests and administer business system applications.
Defines detailed requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the customer.
Troubleshoots complex situations and relationships.
Liaison between IS and users to resolve workflow or functional questions.
Completion of Epic proficiency/certification and general onboarding as needed within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

Experience:
RN plus: Minimum 5 or more years in clinical role and previous work experience with process improvement /business applications in broader and complex areas. May have significant expertise in business area or with particular information system
Proven ability to understand and interpret medical terminology and clinical situations.
Proven ability to interpret clinical care workflow and translate clinical needs into business and technology system applications.
Ability to lead clinical care initiatives regarding technology and system solutions.
Demonstrated experience using clinical knowledge management and clinical decision support resources and tools.
Skills:Serves as senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with enterprise applications.
Implements, modifies, tests, and administers more complex business system applications.
Applies functional knowledge to design and customization of workflow systems.
Defines detailed requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the customer. Provides technical solutions (options and recommendations) to meet clinical workflow needs.
Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues.
Strong leadership judgment and business acumen. Ability to facilitate project work and meetings. Mentors less experienced analysts.
Ability to direct problem solving sessions; responsible for developing solutions from concept to completion.
Strong communication skills internally and externally.
Recommends and documents procedural changes.
Basic report writing and analysis, including design of simple computer screens and reports.
Strong customer service skills.
Troubleshoots complex situations and relationships.
Accurately and effectively translates business requirements to system specifications.
Evaluates business user needs against current systems capabilities utilizing basic and logical problem-solving skills.
