Boone County Hospital’s (BCH) mission of “Bettering Our Communities' Healthcare” is evident in the wide array of services and programs available, the state-of-the-art technology, and the quality physicians and staff.  The 25-bed critical access hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of Boone County and the surrounding communities since the early 1900s.

Boone County Hospital offers many services including a Family Birth Center, obstetrics/gynecology, surgery, a Sleep Disorders Center, the Wound and Hyperbaric Center, a Diabetes Center, Rehabilitation Services including physical, occupational and speech therapies, and Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab.  In addition, the hospital owns and operates Boone County Family Medicine in Boone and Ogden, the Madrid Family Practice Clinic in Madrid, and F. William Beckwith Adult Day Services and Home Care Services/Public Health Services, both in Boone.

Boone County Hospital has 23 physicians and two registered nurse practitioners on their medical staff.  In addition, the BCH Specialty Clinic offers a variety of specialties to meet the growing needs of the community.  Over 25 specialty physicians/physicians assistants from clinics in central Iowa come to the BCH Specialty Clinic several times a month to provide services to Boone County residents.
