The Mon Health System is comprised of community-focused hospitals, founded by concerned citizens, with roots dating back nearly 100 years. Our boards of directors come from our communities, and they are sharply focused on the needs right here close to home. Mon Health Medical Center with Preston Memorial Hospital, Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital and the affiliated Grafton City Hospital are the hospitals of choice for North Central West Virginia families, and have been for decades. Our physicians, nurses and colleagues are familiar neighbors, and we have nearly 40 sites of care across the region. Here, patients don’t get lost in the hallways. Ours is a warm, embracing and caring environment, and you can feel the difference.
In the past year, the hospitals that make up Mon Health System have been nationally and regionally recognized for excellence and quality. The prestigious U.S. News and World Report national health care rankings names Mon Health Medical Center the third-best hospital in the state!
We continue to grow the scope and scale of our medical services and improve our quality and service scores. Most importantly, we are sharply focused on doing the right thing, every time, for those we serve. We are quite proud of what we’ve been able to achieve over the past year. Nothing makes us more proud than to have been recognized by independent, third-party evaluators for providing the best patient experience in the region. That is always our ultimate goal.
