Riverside University Health System (RUHS) includes the 362-bed Medical Center in Moreno Valley, 77-bed Psychiatric facility in Riverside, 10 Federally Qualified Health Centers and several primary and specialty clinics throughout Riverside County, and the departments of Behavioral and Public Health. RUHS has been the foundation of health care, community wellness and medical education in Riverside County for more than 100 years and employs about 6,000 team members.  At Riverside University Health System, our legacy of excellence is just the beginning of a healthy future.

RUHS Medical Center

We provide exceptional care in specialties such as pediatrics, obstetrics and psychiatry, and in the treatment of diabetes and hepatitis C. The Medical Center is a designated Stroke Center, Level II Trauma C​enter, and the only Pediatric ICU in the region.​ The Joint Commission (TJC) has surveyed the Medical Center, allowing the facility to be designated as Disease Specific Certified in Sepsis, Diabetes, Joint Replacement and Stroke. The Medical Center is also a Baby Friendly hospital, as well as a teaching facility for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, surgical technicians, and more. 

RUHS Behavioral Health

​When you or someone you love is in need of help to achieve and maintain a life of whole health wellness and recovery, Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health​ is here for you. We provide community-based services for adults and children with mental health and substance use challenges ​​that are delivered in settings that are friendly, accessible and sensitive to different cultural and language needs.​​

RUHS Public Health

Riverside University Health System – Public Health provides a variety of programs and services, from immunizations for illnesses like influenza, pertussis and measles, to nutrition programs that help new parents learn healthy recipes, to monitoring of illnesses like tuberculosis and west nile. We issue birth and death certificates, and have programs that help children exposed to toxic levels of lead, and educate the community about teen suicide. Public Health also includes Community Action Partnership, which provides weatherization and tax services, along with mediation and utility services, among its services. 

RUHS Community Health

Riverside University Health System – Community Health Centers include primary and specialty care at 10 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) throughout Riverside County. The FQHCs provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to all – regardless of your ability to pay. Cancer screenings, immunizations, flu shots, nutrition management, pregnancy care and counseling, and child health services are a few of the many services available to you.
