St. Gabriel's Hospital

St. Gabriel's Hospital was founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls in 1891 and received its first patients in January 1892. It is a 25-bed acute care Critical Access Hospital located in Little Falls, Minnesota. St. Gabriel's Hospital serves as the cornerstone of Unity Family Healthcare, a multi-facility health care organization that includes St. Camillus Place, Little Falls Orthopedics, Family Medical Center and Alverna Apartments in Little Falls as well as Albany Area Hospital & Medical Center in Albany and Randall Lakes Area Clinic in Randall. St. Gabriel's and its UFH affiliates offer a wide range of traditional inpatient and outpatient services as well as home care and more. It has a 25-member medical staff in the following specialties: family practice, general surgery, internal medicine, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and pediatrics. It is owned by Catholic Health Initiatives, a national Catholic health care organization based in Denver, CO.


Bridges: Youth, Family, Community won the CentraCare Health Foundation's 2007 Spirit of Caring Award and was selected to present at the 2008 Catholic Health Association's National Assembly.
