Our Staff

Clark Regional has more  than 75 physicians, 600 employees and 50 volunteers.  Clark Regional Medical Center also operates an urgent care clinic in Winchester and rural health clinics in Clark, Powell, and Montgomery Counties - all fully accredited by the Joint Commission.

Our Campus

Clark Regional Medial Center is a 79 bed, community hospital which has served the residents of east central Kentucky since 1917.  In addition to the 131,000 square foot hospital, our campus also has two three-story medical office buildings.  We now have numerous practices adjacent to our hospital including, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Urgent Care, plus speciality practices such as Cardiology, Oncology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Interventional Pain Management.  Clark Regional's  Outpatient Imaging Center , The Wellness Center, Center for Infusion Services, Center for Wound Care and the Sleep Center are also located adjacent to the hospital.

Clark Regional is part of LifePoint Health, a leading hospital company based in Brentwood, Tennessee focused on providing quality healthcare services close to home.  LifePoint acquired Clark Regional Medical Center on May 1, 2010.

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to: Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Validates that all needed items are present prior to starting the procedure. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory. Properly cares for instrumentation and prepares them for decontamination. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Verifies sterility of back table, supplies and instrumentation prior to starting procedure and monitors throughout the procedure.
