CentraState Healthcare System is a private, not-for-profit health organization located in Freehold, New Jersey (Monmouth County) and established in 1971. The system includes an acute care hospital, an ambulatory campus, three senior living communities, and a charitable foundation. We also offer a residency training program for family practice physicians and geriatric fellows in affiliation with the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

In working to make health care services more convenient for people throughout our region we have added four health pavilions located in Jackson, Monroe, East Windsor, and Marlboro. Administers culturally sensitive nursing care to assigned patients that is in accordance with ANA standards, the NJ Practice Act, Joint Commission, professional standards and established hospital and Nursing Department policy and procedures in accordance with evidence based nursing practice. The Revenue Integrity Analyst works under the direction of the Revenue Integrity Manager and is responsible for assisting in the organizing, analyzing, and presenting data in coordination with clinical and financial management staff, and for participating in the maintenance of hospital ChargeMaster, including charge structure, charge coding, government regulations and compliance, pricing and rate structure. The Revenue Integrity Analyst provides analytical support and has internal contact with members of all Clinical departments as well as Revenue Cycle and Finance and all levels of leadership throughout the organization. [ Responsibilities ] Performs quarterly, annual and ad hoc CDM database maintenance based on the addition, revision and deletion of new CPT/HCPCS codes. Researches assignment of CPT code, revenue code, and pricing. Identify and communicate with impacted cost centers in a timely manner that allows for appropriate changes to be made in all systems to meet effective dates for new/revised codes. Responsible for reviewing and maintaining CDM especially for supplies and drugs, ensuring all data elements are accurate and comply with all payor requirements. Ensure compliance with Federal and State claims submission regulations. Executes post-implementation audits to validate within designated time frames that additions, revisions and deletions made to the CDM are working as intended and do not result in adverse effects or claim denials. Interacts with Patient Financial Services on claim rejections due to charges. Continually stays abreast of new billing and coding regulations by utilizing appropriate reference materials, our CMD online toolkit, Internet resources, seminars or other sources. Ability to read and interpret regulatory information. In conjunction with cost centers, ensure that charging documents and charge capture systems are updated to allow for the accurate capturing of charges. In cooperation with departmental managers, designs new charge sheets as necessary. Assists the Revenue Integrity Manager with the maintenance of the CDM policy manual. Cleans and decontaminates equipment used in the anesthetic care of patients. Stocks all equipment and some drugs in anesthesia carts in the OR, LDRP, Endo and Performs between case clean up of anesthesia equipment and maintains changing circuits and tubing. Provides assistance and support to the Activities Department in running daily activities for the residents. Helps plan and implement a diverse calendar of activity events. If an employee holds a Valid N.J. Driver’s License or a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), he/she may be required to assist in driving facility bus or facility car. Transports patients to and from ancillary departments and nursing units as directed. [ Responsibilities ] Consistently carries and answers walkie-talkie on first page. Makes deliveries promptly and returns to work area. Utilizes proper body mechanics when moving patients to and from stretchers and wheelchairs and during transport in order to avoid injury to self or others. Runs errands as requested when not performing patient transports. Delivers lab specimens, cleans stretchers and wheelchairs, or other requested items to correct departments. Ensures stretchers and wheelchairs are in proper working order and notifies transport dispatcher when repairs are needed. Cleans equipment and supplies. Stores stretchers, wheelchairs and O2 regulators in proper locations. Makes rounds at the end of shift (8 pm and 10 pm) to obtain stretchers and wheelchairs. Brings them to storage area for a.m. runs to begin. Accurately enters all required data on worksheets. Enters data on a timely basis.

Assures safety of residents by assisting with use of seatbelts, escorting residents on and off the buds and when necessary, into doctors’ offices.
