Mobridge Regional Hospital is looking for an experienced IT Tech to join our team as the Network Administrator. Will provide support to the Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics in a variety of Information Technology duties and functions to meet and exceed the operational needs in maintaining all computer and telephone systems operating on the organization's network. The successful applicant works internally and remotely to provide the highest level of support, service and communication to all staff. Position does require working rotating on call shifts on nights and weekends for IT support. Must have experience in trouble shooting and diagnosing technology needs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE -Installing and maintaining hardware including, but not limited to: -Server Hardware, Server Clusters, Server Virtualizatoin -Desktop or mobile hardware -Hubs / switches -Routers -Firewalls or other security appliances -Wireless network devices (laptops, telemetry, and medical devices) -Peripherals (printers, scanners, copiers, bar code readers, and telemetry) -Cellular Phones including Smartphones -Medical devices connected to network -VOIP Telephone System/Voicemail -Fax Servers -Telemetry systems -Network wiring (topology) in a healthcare environment. Current National Registry licensure as an EMT-P or State Licensure with both the Department of Public Safety/EMS and the SD Board of Osteopathic and Medical Examiners. BLS,ACLS, PALS, or PEPP, PHTLS certification preferred, we also offer training. Must have the ability to carry out effective principles and methods of emergency medical services. Have the ability to conduct positive communications and public relations under difficult and stressful situations. Must be able to observe the scene and make note of the mechanism of injury. Assessing each call situation to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol. Will perform a variety of medical procedures, using a variety of medical equipment to include but not be limited to wound care and dressing, starting IV lines, operating a defibrillator, BP machine, glucometer, cardiac monitor, ventilator, I-stat etc. Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals and emergency personnel in a variety of situations. Computer proficiency is needed as Mobridge Regional Hospital is part of a sophisticated EMR System.

Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics currently has openings for PRN (Per Requested Need) and Full Time personnel for our rural Emergency Medical Service. Will consider applicants with certification/licensure at any level of EMT training including Basic, Intermediate, Advanced or Medic level. Those applicants with Basic/Intermediate and Advanced lefel of education can work full time as long as they are working towards their Paramedic Certification. The specific job duties will depend on the skills and availability of the person. For PRN staff there are no guaranteed hours or shifts, but employer is willing to work around applicants scheduling desire for on-call hours. Any time called back for duty is paid at time and a half of basic wage, which is determined based on qualifications and experience. All positions require Certification/Licensure with the State of South Dakota, State Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners and National Certification if required by state licensure boards. Must also possess certification in CPR, PEPP, PALS, PHTLS, and ACLS (or obtain as soon as possible following employment. All positions require a valid drivers license with a driving record that falls within company policy, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting, sometimes over varied terrain and in sometimes negative weather conditions. Applicants must have the ability to carry out effective principals of emergency medical services within the scope of their specific certification/licensure. Must be able to communicate effectively under sometimesvery stressful situations. As part of the job, will perform focused history and exam on trauma patients in emergency situations. Persons applying for this position must be able to observe the scene and determine the mechanism of the injury as well as the best response and appropriate course of action. Be able to work within the scope of licensure. Will operate a variety of medical equipment. This position requires attention to detail and accurate documentation. All EMS staff are required to attend continued compentency training learning new advanced practices and skills.

We are offering nursing opportunities in a rural 25 bed Critical Access Hospital in north central South Dakota. Employer prefers experience with an EMR system, but is willing to train applicants on our new state of the art system. Shift: Days, Evening, Night, Rotating Education Required: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Must have nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, be licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of SD and experience is preferred, but not necessary. All nurses trained into Home/Community Health must have a VDL and clean driving record. All RNs and LPN have the opportunity to work a variety of shifts and departments including Med Surge, OB, ER, and ICU. OR is available for applicants desiring this experience/position. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Full Benefit package available for Full and Part time (24 hours per week regularly scheduled) position.
