Grant Regional Health Center

Grant Regional Health Center is an award winning Critical Access Hospital located in Lancaster, Wisconsin. This is a progressive healthcare organization which consists of the hospital and multi-specialty physician practice. The hospital has 250 employees and has a service area of 23,000. In 1995, the hospital separated from the City of Lancaster and entered into a lease arrangement with the city. In 2015 the hospital terminated its lease with the city and purchased the land and assets and became a completely independent organization.

The continued expansion and growth of the hospital led to the decision to purchase additional land next to the hospital and announce a $20MM project to renovate and expand the hospital. This will add 32,000 square feet of new construction and 39,000 square feet of renovation of existing space. Completion of new expansion is set for August 2018 and renovations to existing areas are projected for early 2019. The goal of the design includes a modern medical/surgical inpatient unit with private bathrooms; new space for the multi-specialty clinic; rooftop heliport for safety and patient privacy; fixed MRI in- house; expanded Emergency Department with enclosed ambulance bay; and much needed parking space on the hospital campus. Grant Regional Health Center is accredited through The Joint Commission.
