Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics is an integrated healthcare organization committed to providing high quality, patient-focused care. Our team of skilled professionals provides a wide range of medical services from emergency care and wellness programs to orthopedic surgery and cardiac rehabilitation.
Founded in 1934, Ocean Beach has grown into one of the largest employers in South Pacific County. We are a community-owned-and operated hospital with two medical clinics led by an elected board of commissioners. In 2008, the hospital completed an expansion and upgrade of the Nursing Wing, which was the final phase of an extensive 8,400 square foot construction project designed to help meet the needs of our growing coastal community.
In 2009, the hospital began a focus on Women’s Health — by hiring a specific provider who focuses on the unique healthcare concerns of women. Ocean Beach Hospital also expanded its cardiac diagnostic and rehabilitation program by adding nuclear medicine heart stress testing.
In 2010, the hospital added a fulltime oncology program to its services. Place of Hope Cancer Care Center is a comprehensive oncology clinic providing chemotherapy treatment and follow up care to residents of the Long Beach Peninsula, as well as Raymond, South Bend, Astoria and Seaside, OR.
But a healthcare system is more than technology; it’s more than physical structures. It’s people. The doctors, nurses, technicians and support staff who make up the Ocean Beach community are committed to building a healthcare environment that offers compassionate and exceptional care to everyone we serve.
