Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must have two years experience working as a CNA or HHA. Must also have the willingness and ability to obtain a minimum of 12 hours of education annually.
License/Certifications: State of Maine certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers. Hospice certification obtained with 2 year of employment.

These clinical duties shall be directed toward the achievement of excellence in client care and will include: conducting and documenting individual and family psychosocial assessments; documenting the findings of evaluations and progress in clients’ medical record; conducting and documenting family and/or couples treatment of clients and their families; maintaining contact with community resources for after care and providing comprehensive discharge planning services. All services will be provided in a manner and language appropriate to the age and comprehensive level of the clients and their families. All Clinicians are expected to function as active members of their teams.
